After the huge success of the release of the new OPPO F3 in June, OPPO is now going all red for the release of the limited edition F3 Barcelona Edition. The new limited edition phone is released on the 12th of September in celebration of the renewal of OPPO’s partnership deal with FC Barcelona.
The limited edition phone has been released in the club’s infamous red color, and is available exclusively online through the online stores of Raya, B-Tech and Mobile Shop, for 5,780 EGP. The 5.5-inch screened phone will boast a unique sleek metal body, along with the FC Barcelona gold-plated logo. This is the third collaboration phone that OPPO has rolled out, focusing on the club, following the release of the R7 plus and F1 Plus in 2015 and 2016.
OPPO also held a competition for its customers through their social media pages to celebrate the release of the new phone, with 4 lucky winners getting the chance to attend an exclusive sports day at the Shooting Club in Dokki on the 11th of September. The sports day was attended by a number of public sports figures Ahmed Hassan, Mohamed Shawki, Emad El Nahas, and Wael Reyad - Cheetos who attended to compete in the friendly football challenges with the 4 winners, including football darts and tennis. The top two teams will win the grand prize: the F3 Barcelona edition phone.
The F3 FC Barcelona edition will have the same specs as the popular F3 phones, which has already been reflected in the huge success of the phone, since its release. The F3, known as the Group Selfie expert, has two front cameras, a 16 megapixel and an 8-megapixel camera, as well as a 1/3 inch wide-angle lens and aperture sensor to enable users to capture as many people as possible for the best group selfies. The OPPO F3 also has the Beautify 4.0 camera plugin to give users a smooth and clear selfie. As for the rear camera, the 13 MP camera boasts a 1/3 inch sensor as well, which also ensures high quality low light imagery. The phone has a 5.5-inch screen, and runs on a 3200 mA battery, a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of expandable memory.
