Under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Egypt is set to host the inaugural edition of Ai Everything Middle East & Africa (Ai Everything MEA) Egypt, underscoring the strategic role of artificial intelligence within the country’s economic development agenda and long-term vision for innovation-led growth.
A Landmark Event for Egypt’s Digital Transformation
Scheduled for 11–12 February 2026 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, Ai Everything MEA Egypt will debut as the world’s first major AI-focused summit and exhibition of the year. The event positions Cairo as a global meeting point for shaping the future of responsible AI innovation, investment, and advanced digital governance.
Backed by GITEX and Hosted by National Institutions
Ai Everything MEA Egypt is presented by GITEX, the world’s largest technology and AI events network, and hosted by Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in partnership with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). This collaboration reflects Egypt’s ambition to act as a bridge between Africa, the Middle East, and global innovation ecosystems, while accelerating the shift toward an intelligence-driven economy.
AI at the Core of Egypt’s Economic Vision
The presidential patronage of the summit reinforces artificial intelligence as a cornerstone of Egypt’s strategic priorities, supporting economic growth, industrial competitiveness, and human capital development. During his recent participation at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, President El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to expanding investment opportunities in AI and ICT, while emphasizing the importance of equipping future generations with skills aligned to tomorrow’s industries.
Global Participation and Market Expansion
More than 350 AI companies and startups from over 30 countries will participate in Ai Everything MEA Egypt, showcasing cutting-edge innovations and real-world applications across key sectors. These include public services, smart cities, cybersecurity, fintech, digital payments, future mobility, and enterprise transformation. The event also marks the first entry into the Egyptian market for numerous international organizations, highlighting Egypt’s growing role as a regional gateway for AI-driven investment and expansion.
High-Level Dialogues on Governance and Responsible AI
The summit will convene over 10 local and international ministers, alongside leading global councils and institutions such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the UAE Cybersecurity Council. Discussions will focus on responsible AI adoption, scaling national AI infrastructure, strengthening governance frameworks, and advancing policy and investment models that enable sustainable AI development worldwide.
