Amplifai Health, a health technology company specializing in thermal imaging and artificial intelligence for chronic disease management and sports medicine, has been selected to join the World Economic Forum’s MINDS Programme. The initiative recognizes organizations that are successfully translating artificial intelligence from experimental stages into scalable, real-world applications with proven impact.
Joining an Elite International Cohort
Through its inclusion in the MINDS programme—short for Meaningful, Intelligent, Novel, and Deployable Solutions—Amplifai Health becomes part of a global network of organizations acknowledged for delivering AI systems that generate measurable value. The cohort includes internationally recognized leaders such as Siemens, Lenovo, Sanofi, and KPMG, underscoring the programme’s focus on execution-ready innovation.
MINDS Programme: From Concept to Measurable Impact
The World Economic Forum’s MINDS programme is designed to spotlight organizations that have moved beyond pilots and proof-of-concept projects. It emphasizes AI solutions that demonstrate tangible outcomes across sectors, particularly those that address real societal and operational challenges at scale.
Strategic Collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health
Amplifai Health’s selection is closely linked to its collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia, where the company deployed an AI-powered thermal imaging solution for diabetic foot risk screening. The solution has delivered notable clinical and operational results within active healthcare environments.

Proven Clinical and Operational Results
The deployed technology has achieved up to an 80% reduction in treatment costs associated with diabetic foot complications, while enabling a 12-fold increase in screening capacity without a proportional rise in specialist staffing requirements. The solution has also undergone full clinical validation, secured regulatory approvals, and been implemented within operational healthcare settings.
Advancing Responsible AI in Healthcare
These outcomes highlight the role of responsible AI deployment in supporting clinicians, expanding patient access to early screening, and enhancing overall health system efficiency. The results demonstrate how carefully designed AI solutions can strengthen healthcare delivery while maintaining clinical integrity.
World Economic Forum Perspective
Commenting on the announcement, Maria Basso, Head of AI Applications and Impact at the World Economic Forum’s Centre for AI Excellence, stated that the MINDS programme showcases AI solutions that are both innovative and firmly rooted in societal needs. She emphasized that participating organizations exemplify how people-centered AI design can translate innovation into tangible value.
Leadership View from Amplifai Health
Dr. Meshari Alwashmi, Founder and CEO of Amplifai Health, described the acceptance into the MINDS programme as a significant milestone reflecting the real-world value of AI when deployed responsibly and at scale. He noted that the partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health illustrates how technological innovation can align with public health priorities to generate measurable benefits for both patients and healthcare providers.

Ecosystem Support and National Collaboration
Amplifai Health also acknowledged the continued support of key national stakeholders, including the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), as well as strategic partners across the broader innovation ecosystem, all of whom have contributed to advancing deployable healthcare AI solutions.
