Cairo ICT, the Cairo International Technology Exhibition and Conference for the Middle East and Africa, reaffirmed its position as Egypt’s flagship technology platform after hosting a high-level recognition ceremony honoring its strategic partners. The event paid tribute to government entities, sponsors, and exhibitors who contributed to the success of the 29th edition and supported the exhibition’s uninterrupted journey for nearly 29 years as a cornerstone of telecommunications, information technology, and digital transformation in the region.
The ceremony brought together seven ministers alongside senior government officials, business leaders, and representatives of major local and international organizations, highlighting Cairo ICT’s expanding national and regional influence.
Official Launch of the 30th Edition
During the event, organizers officially announced the launch of the 30th edition of Cairo ICT, scheduled to take place from 8 to 11 November, under the theme “AI in Action.” The announcement reflects a strategic shift toward practical, real-world deployment of artificial intelligence across industries.
The ceremony also featured the announcement of the fifth edition of the International Cybersecurity and Information Security Exhibition and Conference (CAISEC’26), set to be held on 8–9 June, reinforcing Egypt’s growing focus on cybersecurity and digital resilience.

Record-Breaking Results From the 29th Edition
The recognition event was organized against the backdrop of the exceptional performance achieved by the 29th edition of Cairo ICT. The exhibition welcomed 161,000 visitors, hosted 580 companies and institutions from 17 countries, and featured 120 panel discussions with more than 550 industry experts and speakers.
In addition, the event witnessed the signing of 30 memorandums of understanding and concluded with the release of 40 strategic recommendations aimed at supporting the future growth of multiple economic sectors.

A Decade of Accelerated Growth and Regional Leadership
Between 2015 and 2025, Cairo ICT recorded unprecedented growth in both scale and impact, with visitor numbers increasing by more than 112% and exhibitor participation rising by 92%. This sustained expansion has positioned Cairo ICT as the largest integrated technology platform in the region.
Beyond showcasing innovations, the exhibition has evolved into a strategic hub connecting government entities, private sector players, financial institutions, and entrepreneurs, reinforcing technology’s role as a key driver of inclusive and sustainable economic development.

The transition from last year’s theme “AI Everywhere” to “AI in Action” marks a clear evolution in Cairo ICT’s vision. The new theme emphasizes implementation over exploration, focusing on deploying artificial intelligence and advanced technologies to improve services, enhance productivity, boost sector efficiency, and accelerate the digital economy.
This shift underscores the exhibition’s commitment to translating innovation into measurable outcomes across public and private sectors.
