The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is now accepting
applications for the Digital Egypt Builders Initiative (DEBI) 2023/2024 academic year.
is a scholarship program that provides young people with the opportunity to learn the latest ICT skills.
DEBI is divided into two programs: Senior and DEBI Professional.
DEBI Senior is a 12-month program divided into three semesters, starting with a preparatory semester.
Students then join the university in which they are registered and submit their
graduation projects to obtain professional master’s degrees in their chosen field.
DEBI Senior is designed for experienced tech graduates to boost their skills and gain in-depth knowledge in advanced fields.
– Professional is an eight-month program divided into three semesters.
It is designed for fresh graduates seeking an opportunity in the ICT sector.
Senior applicants will have the unique opportunity to participate in practical
projects and apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world problems.
DEBI Professional applicants will also have
the opportunity to acquire the basic skills they need to build successful careers in the ICT field.
Training tracks include data science and Artificial Intelligence (AI),
cybersecurity, robotics and automation, digital arts, and FinTech.

and English language skills, as well as teamwork skills and activities.

The initiative is carried out in collaboration with international universities and
multinationals specializing in ICT, leadership,
or language skills development. DEBI participants receive a master’s degree granted by those universities.
