Egypt Post announced the winners of the “Postal Museum through Creative Lenses” photography competition, which was held at the Egyptian Postal Museum on September 21-30.
The competition aimed to shed light on the Museum and its unique archaeological collections in a creative and engaging way.
Over 150 amateur and professional photographers participated in the competition with
artistic photos that highlight and explore the museum’s collections in a distinct and creative way.
The panel received nearly 250 photos, and 39 photos from 34 photographers were selected for display
inside the museum during the competition activities.
Nine of these photos submitted by photographers won first places.
Winners received certificates of appreciation and cash prizes of EGP 10,000 for first place,
EGP 7,000 for second place, EGP 5,000 for third place, and six additional prizes of EGP 1,000 each.
All competition participants also received certificates of appreciation for their artistic quality and creativity.
Competition conditions included that all photos must be taken inside the museum,
and each participant must submit up to three photos in RAW and JPEG file format, with an
image size of at least 5 MB but no more than 10 MB and a resolution of at least 300 DPI.
