Homzmart launches first-of-a-kind furniture showrooms in Egypt
Homzart opened two showrooms, one in Sheik Zayed and the other is at New Cairo, demonstrating how its digital impact is expanding to on-the-ground activations and direct customer engagement.
This comes under Homzmart’s objective to enhance customer experience and further its expansion as a leading furniture and home decor marketplace. The move also demonstrates Homzmart’s commitment to bringing quality service to its clients.
The Homzmart showrooms bring the platform’s unique digital experience to a large pool of offline customers, allowing them access to thousands of products available on the platform. Homzmart also relies on AI to make purchasing furniture all the more seamless and straight-forward, whereby embedded algorithms help clients design and measure spaces to match their expectations and home design through unique technology.
By merging the benefits of both the traditional marketplace and digital solutions, Homzmart clients can choose from furniture and home decor pieces that match their taste effectively, seamlessly, and at a low cost. No financial transactions will take place in the showrooms, which will solely serve the purpose of showcasing Homzmart’s products to ease the Egyptian market’s understanding of the platform’s offerings. Homzmart currently serves 20 million Egyptian households, across various societal and age segments.
“We opened both showrooms after precise market research conducted to gauge the furniture market’s needs and to meet our clients’ demands. We always aim to support our clients in digital transformation and to enhance consumer engagement,” said Homzmart’s Co-Founder and CEO Mahmoud Ibrahim.
“Homzart is aiming to expand to more geographies in the forthcoming period, as we understand consumers’ varying needs and their shopping concerns, particularly if they require inquiries or a showcase prior to making purchasing decisions, this is done through an online/offline/online strategy.”
Earlier this year, Homzmart acquired Berlin-based tech company Mockup Studio, bringing users the technology to accurately mix and match items based on interior design guidelines.
