In cooperation with the Ministry of Solidarity, OPPO distributes food boxes

In cooperation with the Egyptian government and the Ministry of Solidarity, OPPO, the
leading global smartphone brandhas donated 5 Million EGP in the form of food boxes
helping thousands of Egyptian families who were affected by the amid Covid-19 leading to Coronavirus.
Emphasizing on the role of National Corporate Responsibility, Eve Han, Brand Director of
OPPO Egypt said: “The coronavirus is a global pandemic that has infected millions all over
the world. In Egypt thousands of families are affected; and as a vital part of the Egyptian
society, contributing to the growth of the community, we believe it is our responsibility to
help, support and care for the families who are going through hard times”.
OPPO has been in the Egyptian market since 2015 and has assumed responsibilities
towards the society and the community, creating economic growth and thus contributing to
the development of the country.
Over the past few weeks, OPPO successfully managed to distribute 15,000 food boxes allover Egypt’s governorates to those in need and promises more corporate social responsibility activities for the better development of the country.
Han added: “We promise the community more cooperation and collaborations to support the country! Supporting Egyptians is a responsibility that we hope everyone will contribute to”.
As part of the efforts conducted, at the beginning of the pandemic, OPPO has collaborated
with two doctors Dr. Osama Abdel Latif, Allergy and Immunology Consultant and Dr.
Ahmed El Khateeb, a pediatricianwhere they produced a video sharing valuable information
about how to avoid getting infected with the Coronavirus. The video was shared on all OPPO and both doctors’ social media platforms and generated huge viewership.
