eFinance, the national fintech operator under eFinance Investment Group, announced the signing of a significant memorandum of understanding with Salesforce, the global leader in AI-powered CRM, to jointly build Egypt’s first Agentic AI-powered API and interoperability platform. The agreement aligns with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s efforts to accelerate the country’s digital transformation agenda.
Building Egypt’s First Centralized API Gateway
As part of the partnership, eFinance and Salesforce will co-develop a centralized national API gateway designed to connect financial platforms, tax systems, citizen services, and public-sector data infrastructure.
The platform will be powered by MuleSoft, Salesforce’s leading integration, automation, and API management technology. This unified layer will ensure secure interoperability across government entities, enhancing data exchange, accelerating digital service deployment, and supporting scalable, reusable integrations across ministries.

MuleSoft Agent Fabric at the Core of Future AI Governance
The new infrastructure will also leverage MuleSoft Agent Fabric as the foundation for orchestrating and governing AI agents across government operations. This will prepare Egypt for the next phase of agentic AI use cases, enabling the delivery of automated, intelligent, and citizen-centric public services over time.
MoU Signing During Cairo ICT 2025
The memorandum of understanding, held under the patronage of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, was formalized during Cairo ICT 2025.
