One Year On, HP Reinforces Its Presence in Egypt With AI-Driven Innovation

HP Celebrates One Year of Operations in Cairo

HP has marked one year since the launch of its office and operations in Cairo, reaffirming its long-term commitment to Egypt as a strategic regional hub for growth. The milestone was celebrated through a dedicated event that brought together customers, partners, and industry stakeholders, highlighting HP’s expanding footprint and growing influence in the local market.

Strengthening a Trusted Technology Partnership

During the event, HP emphasized its role as a reliable technology partner for organizations across the business, education, and government sectors. By continuing to invest in local talent, forge strategic partnerships, and drive innovation, HP is aligning its operations closely with Egypt’s national digital transformation agenda, while strengthening its leadership position across the Middle East and Africa.

Showcasing Progress and the Future of Work

The gathering also served as a progress review since HP’s return to Egypt, while underscoring the company’s vision for the future of work. HP demonstrated how artificial intelligence is being embedded across its product portfolio to deliver smarter personal systems, more secure printing solutions, and hybrid work technologies designed to boost productivity, performance, and security for both employees and organizations.

Egypt as a Key Growth Market for HP

Commenting on the occasion, Ertug Ayik, Vice President and Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa at HP, described Egypt as a core growth market for the company. He noted that direct engagement with customers and partners reflects HP’s on-the-ground commitment to supporting Egypt’s digital journey with the right mix of technologies and solutions, expressing optimism about the opportunities ahead.

Rethinking Work in the Age of AI

Ayik also addressed how organizations are redefining work in an AI-driven era, and how expectations are evolving for both employees and employers. Findings from HP’s 2025 Work Relationship Index revealed that only 20% of knowledge workers globally report having a healthy relationship with work. Among this group, however, 42% use AI tools on a daily basis, highlighting the strong link between technology, wellbeing, and employee engagement. As Ayik noted, with the right tools, work can become more balanced and fulfilling.

AI-Powered Innovations Take Center Stage

HP used the showcase to present its latest advancements across personal systems, printing, and its broader services and solutions ecosystem. The company highlighted how it is delivering integrated, secure, and AI-powered workplace experiences tailored to modern organizational needs.

Egypt was among the first global markets to preview two major innovations: the HP EliteBook X G2 Series, a CES 2026 Innovation Award-winning business notebook offering high performance and HP Wolf Security; and the HP EliteBoard G1a, the world’s first full AI PC built into a compact, plug-and-play keyboard, designed specifically for AI-first work environments.

Expanding Commitment to Education in Egypt

Beyond workplace solutions, HP reaffirmed its dedication to supporting education in Egypt. Through its partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the HP IDEA program is currently active in more than 25 cities. The initiative provides educators with year-long, hands-on training in digital skills such as artificial intelligence and education technology, empowering them to drive transformation in classrooms and local communities.

A Long-Term Vision for Digital Transformation

As Egypt accelerates its digital transformation efforts, HP continues to strengthen its role as a long-term technology partner to the country. Through scalable, people-centered solutions, the company is enabling more productive and secure work environments, advancing digital inclusion through education, and expanding access to innovation across multiple sectors.
