solutions Redefining the future of education: Egypt’s prestigious universitiesturn to 365 Ecology for smartengineering

The surroundings and spaces people interact with on a daily basis affect performance,

mental well-being and overall productivity. For that very reason, developers and architects

are incorporating functionality with design, ensuring that buildings are well-planned and

personalized while embedding smart and energy saving solutions.

365 Ecology, a leader in providing innovative and integrated energy-efficient HVAC

solutions, were contracted to apply theirheating, ventilation, and air-conditioning“HVAC” technologies to some of Egypt’s largest projects across multiple new cities.A majority of

these new projects are ultra-modern educational institutions that look at placing Egypt on

the international education arena.

Studies have shown that an integrated and efficient building design can not only reduce the

energy and operating costs of universities or any facility but can also reduce the size and cost of the HVAC system needed to maintain adequate building atmosphere, good indoor

air quality and a comfortable environment for the students.

“We were very proud to take part in shaping Egypt’s new educational platforms and offer

our new and smart technologies. With projects like the new European University and El Sewedy Education Knowledge Hub both in the New Administrative Capital, we have the

opportunity of making a difference with our solutions.” said Osama Bekhit, Founder &

Managing Director of 365 Ecology.

The two projects alone saw over 2,700 refrigerating tons being provided in record time over multiple phases. Bekhit further explained that HVAC systems account for nearly 56% of the energy used in commercial buildings in Egypt. Accordingly, almost any business has the potential to realize significant savings by improving its control of HVAC and improving the efficiency of the systemsutilized.

Today, new cities account for approx. 70% of the world’s carbon footprint which impacts air quality, raising growing concerns on health and well-being of citizens. Therefore, Egypt’s new cities have taken this into account when developing an infrastructure that is sustainable, efficient and capable of energy transformation.

In addition to the projects in the New Administrative Capital,365 Ecology is currently working on another educational project at the New Alamein City; the Arab Academy for Science, Technology& Maritime Transport to provide 3 buildings with HVAC systems. With 365 Ecology’s wide inventory and commitment to delivering quality and respecting timelines, success was achieved in two months.
