Yalla Group Limited (NYSE: YALA), the largest MENA-based social networking and online gaming company, has announced a major step in its regional expansion with plans to establish a new regional headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, after securing all necessary commercial licenses.
The move marks a key milestone in Yalla’s growth strategy and reflects its vision to capitalize on Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing digital and entertainment ecosystem, in line with the Kingdom’s ambitious digital transformation goals.
Announcement Made During High-Level Meeting in Beijing
The establishment of the Riyadh headquarters was officially announced during a meeting held in Beijing, China, between Yalla Group’s executive leadership and His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation and the Arab Esports Federation.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Alharbi, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to China.
The new regional office is set to open in the first half of 2026 at Riyadh’s Roshn Front, serving as a central hub for managing Yalla’s operations and partnerships across Saudi Arabia and beyond.
Driving Localization and Collaboration in the Gaming Ecosystem
Yalla’s Riyadh headquarters will play a vital role in strengthening relationships with local stakeholders, developing gaming content that reflects Saudi culture, and fostering collaboration across the Kingdom’s thriving entertainment ecosystem.
The new base will also provide enhanced market insights, allowing Yalla to adapt its existing platforms and introduce innovative new services designed specifically for Saudi users.
In parallel, the company plans to create new employment opportunities, nurture local talent, and contribute to the Kingdom’s goal of building a dynamic, knowledge-based digital economy.

HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud emphasized that Saudi Arabia continues to cement its position as a global hub for gaming and digital innovation, noting that Yalla’s decision to locate its regional HQ in Riyadh demonstrates international confidence in the Kingdom’s expanding digital economy and its creative industry ecosystem.
He added that this move will broaden Saudi Arabia’s gaming landscape, empower young Saudi talent, and advance the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to position the Kingdom as a regional leader in digital entertainment and technology.
Prince Faisal also highlighted the significance of public-private partnerships in driving innovation and growth across the digital entertainment sector.
