PUBG MOBILE INTRODUCES FIRST-EVER EMEA LEAGUE
PUBG MOBILE launches new league for Europe, Middle
East, and Africa, with $100,000 prize pool up for grabs
Following a successful first half, PUBG MOBILE has
announced the PUBG MOBILE EMEA League, a brand-new
league that will determine the top teams from across
Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
The PUBG MOBILE EMEA League will include a $100,000
prize pool, and the top three teams will represent the
region at the upcoming PUBG MOBILE Global Championship.
The EMEA League will be held in October 2020 with 32
teams battling it out over the span of three weeks. The
participating teams will be selected through the 2020 PUBG
MOBILE Club Open (PMCO) Fall Split performance as
follows:
- PMCO Europe Finals: Top 4 teams
- PMCO CIS Finals: Top 5 teams
- PMCO Turkey Finals: Top 4 teams
- PMCO Germany Finals: Top 3 teams
- PMCO Saudi Arabia Finals: Top 5 teams
- PMCO Iraq Finals: Top 5 teams
- PMCO MEAF (Middle East & Africa) Finals: Top 3 teams
- PMCO Egypt Finals: Top 3 teams
The tournament will be split into the two stages – the EMEA
League, which will be held in the first two weeks, and the
EMEA League Finals that will take place in the third and last
week of the season.
In the EMEA League stage, 32 teams will be split into
groups and play against each other, accumulating points
and after 2 weeks the top 16 teams will proceed to the
EMEA League Finals. There will be four matches played per
day, for three days a week.
In the finals, the points reset, and 16 teams will battle it
out to determine the top three teams that will qualify for
the upcoming PUBG MOBILE Global Championship. The
finals will see five matches per day played over four days.
The EMEA League will replace the PMCO Regional Finals for
Europe and MEAF and combine the prize pools for both
events for a total of $100,000.
The PUBG MOBILE EMEA League will be broadcast live on
the below channels, so that fans can support their favorite
teams and cheer them on during the live matches.
