PUBG MOBILE INTRODUCES FIRST-EVER EMEA LEAGUE

PUBG MOBILE launches new league for Europe, Middle

East, and Africa, with $100,000 prize pool up for grabs

Following a successful first half, PUBG MOBILE has

announced the PUBG MOBILE EMEA League, a brand-new

league that will determine the top teams from across

Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

The PUBG MOBILE EMEA League will include a $100,000

prize pool, and the top three teams will represent the

region at the upcoming PUBG MOBILE Global Championship.

The EMEA League will be held in October 2020 with 32

teams battling it out over the span of three weeks. The

participating teams will be selected through the 2020 PUBG

MOBILE Club Open (PMCO) Fall Split performance as

follows:

  • PMCO Europe Finals: Top 4 teams
  • PMCO CIS Finals: Top 5 teams
  • PMCO Turkey Finals: Top 4 teams

  • PMCO Saudi Arabia Finals: Top 5 teams
  • PMCO Iraq Finals: Top 5 teams
  • PMCO MEAF (Middle East & Africa) Finals: Top 3 teams

The tournament will be split into the two stages – the EMEA

League, which will be held in the first two weeks, and the

EMEA League Finals that will take place in the third and last

week of the season.

In the EMEA League stage, 32 teams will be split into

groups and play against each other, accumulating points

and after 2 weeks the top 16 teams will proceed to the

EMEA League Finals. There will be four matches played per

day, for three days a week.

In the finals, the points reset, and 16 teams will battle it

out to determine the top three teams that will qualify for

the upcoming PUBG MOBILE Global Championship. The

finals will see five matches per day played over four days.

The EMEA League will replace the PMCO Regional Finals for

Europe and MEAF and combine the prize pools for both

events for a total of $100,000.
