The first virtual summit of Microsoft’s Reimagine Tomorrow , series began today,
HE Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications & Information Technology, inaugurated the event and delivered a keynote speech,
where he shed light on the Digital Egypt vision and how all government entities, and organizations are working together to make it a success.
During his speech, HE Dr Amr Talaat elaborated on three pillars that support the ministry’s strategy to build a Digital Egypt ,
these include the digital transformation of government services provided to citizens; building the technical capabilities in modern technologies;
and finally, adopting a culture of supporting digital creativity and technological innovation to stimulate an environment of entrepreneurship in Egypt.
HE Dr. Amr Talaat emphasized that these pillars are based on three basic principles,
which are a strong ICT infrastructure, a general framework for Egypt’s digital governance, and an inclusive digital economy.
The Reimagine Tomorrow summit will bring together sessions exploring how digital tools can empower
the digital transformation journeys for Healthcare and Education sector by implementing AI technologies,
and also provided learnings from various experiences.
The event also touched on the importance of cyber security to preserve operations by providing strong protection for users,
as well as digital safety throughout this crisis.

with a shared vision to advance Egypt’s competitiveness that contributes towards the Egypt’s vision 2030 and building a Digital Egypt.
