City Centre Almaza Launches its Second Edition of “Kings Arena” Providing Gamers with a Prize Pool Value of EGP 250,000

Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail, and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, is hosting the second edition of the “Kings Arena” at City Centre Almaza, inviting top gamers from across Egypt to compete in FIFA 23, League of Legends, Valorant, and PUBG MOBILE for the chance to win a total prize pool value of EGP 250,000. The immersive gaming arena is sponsored by Samsung and Talabat, and is open to the public until March 4.
The highly-anticipated arena features three distinct divisions that cater to gamers of all levels. The first division provides a casual gaming experience designed for mall visitors who showcase proof-of-purchase of over EGP 500, which includes a state-of-the-art virtual reality setup, in addition to a variety of challenges and on-ground activities. The second division is a main tournament specifically designed for expert gamers, with a number of distinctive gaming zones equipped with PlayStation devices, mobile devices and PCs. The third division is a pro tournament reserved for well-known and accomplished gaming teams, such as Anubis Gaming, Team Occupy, and 3BL Esports. The gaming arena also offers daily prizes, surprise appearances from popular streamers and interactive watch parties.

The first edition of the gaming tournament was held in 2021 at both Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza, witnessing a final match between the winner at each mall.
