Huawei is organizing a virtual tour of the “Darwin” exhibition to display the latest new technological solutions

Huawei Technologies, a leader in information and communication technology solutions, organized a virtual tour of global ICT sector experts, at the Darwin Exhibition,

 

for modern technological solutions. The virtual tour came within the framework of Huawei Technologies’ keenness to provide and share the latest technologies and technological solutions to support digital transformation processes while maintaining commitment to precautionary measures, taking into account the exceptional circumstances the world is going through.

The inspection tour was attended by a group of experts and specialists in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) from around the world. Nevertheless, from Egypt Dr. Mohamed Hegazy, Consultant of digital transformation legislation, and innovation and intellectual property, Dr. Hoda Baraka, Advisor to the Minister of Information and Communications on the development of the technological skills, and Engineer Hossam Saleh, Executive Director and Official Spokesperson of United Group for Media Services, along with international experts from Britain, Germany, France, America, Italy, and other countries.

During the tour, Huawei provided a comprehensive explanation about its latest innovations and new smart solutions that would enhance the digital transformation process by providing an opportunity to explore the capabilities of the Fifth Generation (5G),

 

Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Green Technology. In addition, the means of enhancing the ICT infrastructure and investment through various industrial policies were discussed. Lastly, the tour entailed spreading awareness of the importance of energy conservation, reducing emissions, renewable energy, and the topic of the green economy.

In this context, Eng. Hossam Saleh praised the virtual tour of the “Darwin” exhibition, as according to him it makes the people acquainted with the international experiences in the ICT sector.

 

Saleh also acclaimed the distinguished performance and efforts exerted by Huawei while making strides in the ICT world in Egypt, due to the fact that it is one of the largest investors in the field of research and development.

He stated that Egypt can apply these solutions and technologies in various fields, especially with the increasing need to expand the application of the latest technologies in line with the sustainable development goals and Egypt’s 2030 vision.

 

He also expounded that Egypt should take advantage from the concerted efforts of the public and private sectors in the transfer of global technologies to the local market.

It is noteworthy that last year China hosted the first edition of this largest annual global event, the “Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai”, attracting 200,000 visitors and 71,000 guests from more than 40 countries and regions.

 

In fact, this conference aims at discussing and following up with the most important aspects of digital technologies, in addition to exchanging different experiences on how to use digital technology to help implement common societal goals.

 

Shanghai will also establish 6 demonstration areas for creative application of AI technology, as well as conduct 60 application scenarios for the same technology.
