Jumia Egypt Marks 14-Year Milestone with Mega Sale and Nationwide Shopping Experience

Jumia Egypt has launched a major nationwide campaign to celebrate 14 years in the Egyptian market, introducing one of its largest promotional events to date. The campaign features unprecedented deals and discounts of up to 80% across all categories, alongside an enhanced and more dynamic online shopping experience for customers across the country.

Over the past 14 years, Jumia has played a significant role in shaping the digital shopping landscape in Egypt. This anniversary campaign reflects the company’s continued commitment to offering greater value, smarter shopping solutions, and exclusive deals that cater to evolving consumer needs.

More Than 20 Days of Deals Across Key Categories

Running from May 4 to May 24, the campaign spans more than 20 days of continuous offers across six major categories, including fashion, electronics, mobile phones and accessories, health and beauty, home appliances, and more.

Customers can enjoy substantial savings ranging from EGP 140 to EGP 14,000, with additional discounts of up to 14% on selected products. The campaign also introduces themed pricing tiers inspired by the number 14, adding a unique dimension to the promotional experience.

Daily Offers and Interactive Shopping Experiences

The campaign includes a wide range of daily deals such as “Deal of the Day” and “Weekend Offers,” as well as Flash Sales that provide deep discounts on limited-quantity items.

To further engage users, Jumia has incorporated interactive elements like the “Wheel of Fortune,” offering customers the chance to win prizes, exclusive discounts, and shopping vouchers—turning the shopping journey into an entertaining experience.

Door Crashers and Peak-Day Mega Discounts

A highlight of the campaign is the “Door Crashers” promotion, scheduled for peak days on May 4, 8, 15, and 22. These limited-time offers feature three key products at exceptionally reduced prices.

Additional campaign initiatives include:

Products starting at EGP 140, EGP 1,400, and EGP 14,000

Extra discounts of up to 14% on selected items

Interest-free installment plans for up to 14 months on select deals

The headline offer remains discounts of up to 80% across a wide assortment of products.

The campaign is supported by a diverse portfolio of leading brands, including Adidas, Xiaomi, LC Waikiki, Defacto, GSK, Activ, and Luna, in addition to a wide network of local sellers on the platform.

Enhanced Logistics with Nationwide Free Delivery

As part of its efforts to improve customer satisfaction, Jumia continues to strengthen its logistics infrastructure through its “Jumia Express” service, which offers free delivery on a wide selection of products.

This service ensures fast, reliable shipping across all Egyptian governorates, reinforcing the company’s focus on convenience and efficiency in the customer experience.

Flexible Payment Solutions with BNPL Partnerships

Jumia is also expanding its “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) offerings through collaborations with key financial institutions, including National Bank of Egypt, valU, Aman, Souhoola, Contact Now, FAB, and Klivvr. These partnerships enable customers to benefit from interest-free installment plans of up to 24 months.

On-Ground Activation to Boost Customer Engagement

Beyond digital channels, Jumia is reinforcing its physical presence through JForce activations across key locations. These include:

Representatives stationed in major streets and retail areas

A physical Wheel of Fortune offering giveaways and discount vouchers

Printed catalogs showcasing top deals

A branded promotional vehicle equipped with loudspeakers

Direct engagement with local communities and merchants

Commenting on the milestone, Lionel Mobi, CEO of Jumia, described the 14-year anniversary as a significant achievement in the company’s journey in Egypt and the broader region.
