Ramadan Giving in Action: Majid Al Futtaim Reaches Thousands of Families Across Egypt

Majid Al Futtaim marked the holy month of Ramadan 2026 with a series of impactful community initiatives across Egypt, reinforcing its strong commitment to social responsibility. Through collaborative efforts with employees, brand partners, and trusted charitable organizations, the company successfully extended meaningful support to families facing economic challenges.

Strategic Partnerships Driving Community Support

As part of its Ramadan outreach, the company partnered with 180 Degrees Foundation to prepare and distribute 750 hot meals to vulnerable individuals, ensuring access to essential daily nutrition.

In addition, collaboration with Egyptian Clothing Bank enabled the collection and distribution of more than 200 Eid clothing kits. Donation points were placed across Majid Al Futtaim’s malls, allowing visitors to actively contribute and support underprivileged families ahead of Eid Al-Fitr.

Supporting Employees Through “We’ve Got Your Back”

Recognizing the importance of internal community support, Majid Al Futtaim launched its “We’ve Got Your Back” initiative, distributing 1,600 Ramadan boxes to mall employees. This initiative highlights the company’s commitment to employee well-being and inclusivity during the holy month.

Commenting on the initiatives, Rasha Azab, Managing Director – Shopping Malls, Egypt and Lebanon, emphasized that Ramadan serves as a reminder of the power of human connection. She noted that collective efforts from teams and partners enabled the company to expand its reach this year, supporting more families while nurturing a culture of generosity and collaboration.

Majid Al Futtaim continues to invest in long-term community development through broader CSR initiatives. These include partnerships with organizations such as Egyptian Food Bank and hosting initiatives like Orphans’ Day, where dedicated experiences are organized for children across its malls.
Such efforts reflect the company’s ongoing mission to create sustainable, positive impact beyond seasonal campaigns.
