Orange Egypt Sponsors Red Rock Corporate Race 2019

After last year’s great success on different levels; social, networking, team-building and marketing levels, Red Rock International hosted The Second Corporate Race powered by Orange. The 2019 Race’s cause aligns with the Egyptian president, Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s declaration that 2019 is The Year Of Education ; the race powered by Orange and held at ZED Park El Sheikh Zayed, raised funds and awareness with an endgame to dedicate EGP one million for the vocational and educational training of 150 Egyptian girls and turn their dreams into reality in cooperation with Injaz Egypt.
We are so excited to be bringing together our community of corporate partners to join in the Corporate Race ‘19 for a full day of fun team building activities and all to support a great cause impacting girls entrepreneurial education across Egypt. – Dina El Mofty, Cofounder of INJAZ Egypt.
Over 30 teams representing a wide range of industries participated in the race, as Red Rock invited a number of Egypt’s influential enterprises to take part in a corporate race event today, with the belief that the corporate world can come together to make a difference. As stated by the Scoop Empire Team during the last year’s race Most corporations have either societal or environmental initiatives to help make the world a better place
The race was powered by Orange Egypt as the platinum sponsor and supported by three main sponsors: ZED El Sheikh Zayed the gold sponsor and Orascom Industries and Pepsico the Silver Sponsors. Additional supporters included IDH, Adeco and Pulse Studio.

The Corporate Race, spanned an entire day, with tailored activities designed to promote interactions between the teams and in line with Egypt’s overarching priority on education, the funds that were raised will go towards girls to help them learn fundamental business aspects and thereby support their career development. In the evening, following a two-phase race, the efforts of all participants were recognized at a closing celebration where medals were distributed to the winning teams, a speech was given by Ms. Hala Abdel Wadood , Head of Public Relations & Corporate Social Responsibility at Orange Egypt, where she expressed her pride for sponsoring the Red Corporate Race for the second consecutive year.
Our support for this race is a key element in our efforts to support sustainable social development in Egypt and copes with the efforts and strategy of Orange that support Women’s Empowerment and Education. We always strive to endorse advanced education and improve the working environment in the Egyptian society . said Hala Abdel Wadood.
She also added Orange always seeks to cooperate and partner with leading associations like Injaz Egypt and Red Rock to help us in reaching our goal and raise the needed funds to the education of Egyptian girls .
At the end of the event, Hala Abdel Wadood handed Ms. Dina El Mofty CEO of Injaz the 1 million EGP cheque, as she gave a speech. A final word was given by one of the girls, who are supported through this program.
