Yalla Group Limited (NYSE: YALA), a leading Middle East and North Africa (MENA)-based online social networking and gaming company, has announced its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, ended June 30, highlighting continued user growth and strong momentum across its gaming business.
According to the latest financial results, Yalla Group generated revenues of AED 303.4 million (US$82.6 million) in Q2 2026, compared with AED 310 million during the same period last year.
The company reported net income of AED 107.6 million (US$29.3 million) for the quarter, compared with AED 134 million in Q2 2025.
For the first six months of 2026, Yalla Group recorded revenues of AED 593.5 million, while net income reached AED 211.9 million.
Strong margins and growing user base
Yalla Group maintained a net margin of 35.5% during the second quarter, highlighting its continued focus on operational efficiency and profitability.
The company also recorded strong growth in its user community. Average Monthly Active Users (MAUs) increased 12.3% year-on-year to 47.6 million in Q2 2026, compared with 42.4 million users during the corresponding period of 2025.
The increase reflects continued engagement with Yalla’s social networking and gaming ecosystem across the MENA region and other international markets.
Gaming revenues rise 11.6%
Yang Tao, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Yalla Group, described the company’s second-quarter performance as solid, pointing to the resilience of its flagship products and increasing momentum across its gaming business.
Gaming services continued to deliver strong results, with revenues increasing 11.6% year-on-year during the quarter.
Tao said the results demonstrate the strength of Yalla Group’s strategy and the resilience of its business model as the regional market continues to evolve.
Turbo Match expands across global markets
The company’s gaming portfolio continued to make progress during Q2, with Turbo Match expanding its user base across MENA, the United States and Europe.
At the same time, Yalla Group continues to develop a broader pipeline of self-developed products spanning casual and hyper-casual games, social products and artificial intelligence applications.
The company is also accelerating the integration of AI across its research and development operations, including AI-assisted programming and a proprietary AI model-based system designed to generate game levels and evaluate their difficulty.
According to the company, these technologies are helping improve development efficiency while enabling the creation of more engaging experiences for users.
AI takes a central role in Yalla’s technology strategy
Looking ahead, Yalla Group plans to deepen the integration between its social networking and gaming ecosystems while placing artificial intelligence at the core of its technology infrastructure.

Yalla Ludo recorded a clear recovery compared with the first quarter, with stronger user engagement and a rebound in paying-user growth.
The sixth season of Yalla Ludo Carnival, alongside the launch of the new long-term “Yalla Season” campaign, also contributed to strengthening the company’s social entertainment offering and creating additional engagement opportunities for users.
These initiatives form part of Yalla Group’s broader strategy to enhance its entertainment ecosystem and maintain strong connections with its growing user community.

The second quarter also marked the 10th anniversary of the Yalla platform, representing a significant milestone for the company and its relationship with users across MENA.

The company launched locally relevant anniversary campaigns inspired by the region’s communities and culture, generating significant engagement among its loyal user base.

Yalla Group also strengthened its regional presence through its partnership with Saudi eLeague 2026, giving the company an opportunity to engage directly with younger audiences.
