Government, businesses and other organisations in the Middle East are increasingly
encouraging home working in a bid to slow the spread of COVID-19/coronavirus. While the
measure is undoubtedly effective in flattening the curve of coronavirus increase, there are
cyber risks that need to be considered in relation to this change.
Given the cyber security risks involved with remote working, Kaspersky is offering its

Apart from accidentally downloading malware that is Covid-19 themed, there are also malware infections that target users in Egypt. The risk of downloading this malware is 68% higher on weekdays as compared to weekends.
